Everything is Awesome.

"Everything is Awesome. Everything is cool when you are part of a team."

Sounds familiar. This post is kinda inspired from The Lego movie. My four years of college life,Football has been the most important thing that stuck along side me in this journey. Team I say, Yes, It would be unfair if I don't mention my teammates here. Very unfair. I might have not won many accolades with my team, but we went through rough times together and we did come out top on many occasions.

In these 4 years, I have seen my entire team undergo a change, every single player, every other position. I met many people. I bonded with few, and those are the people I'll cherish most. Also well, I was the only goal keeper in the college, they had no much of a choice. So, basically I have been with many teammates and many teams. It's hard to select which people are the ones I loved to play along.

Look at us ma,  we are so cool. Only if I hadn't fucked up that final, that trophy would have been ours. Shukla, Tej, Elvin and Shetty. The almost Department champs. Hahah. Will miss playing along side them. But that's how life works, isn't it? You loose few teammates, you gain some more. Things I shall remember, Tej going berserk on me for missing simple shots, Elvin doing a Ronaldo and Shukla with that throw in. Ahh, amazing times. Well, these were my juniors.Next up, Seniors.

It was my third year, when I really started enjoying my game. I was in the peak of my form. AFL(ADIT football league. Yes, we are cool like that) was near. I would have been a sensation in the auction. But, there is always a but, no? I fractured my hand. Fun Facts:- I always had an injury before, during and after an AFL season. No one would want a keeper with a broken hand, would they? Went unsold in the auction. Seniors, no, FRIENDS had different plans, bought me as a Striker. I was so excited, they knew the risk in playing me and thus they named me The Super Sub(Everyone reading shall know i am exaggerating now), But I did scored last minute winner as a substitute. I shall never forget Tarun, Nikolai, Bajaj and Shivam for the same. These were my college mates as well. And I am so glad I met these people.

So, Yes, Everything is cool when you are part of the team. 

One Last Visit.

It wasn't an ideal start to the trip. How could it ever be, we are talking about me after all. But we decided to go ahead anyway. So here we were, waiting for Mumbai bound flight at the airport. Way too early for a domestic flight. Yes. Three hours before the departure. Guess wanted to get away pretty bad. Had a decent flight. Mumbai was quite beautiful, better than I expected. 12 hours later, we landed. Singapore, the place I always wanted to be ever since my first visit there. But this time, it felt different, I was more excited. Cuz I knew this was probably the last time. All I wanted was to make this trip eventful and boy it was.

Eventful I say, let's start with the day I landed. JetAirways managed to misplace my luggage. Best part, that bag belonged to me. So I was on a trip with just a pair of jean and a T-shirt and yes I had a boxer along. So basically my trip started with me waiting in the lost and found counter for three hours straitening things. Good part, saw dad on the other side. First two days were spent buying things I'll need to not embarrass myself  in an unknown country. That was a drag tbqfh. It was funny though.

Then. Stayed home. Went to few places here and there. Managed to pass out time. And yes, managed to get lost. It was the day when my laptop started to acting up. So decided to visit the nearest service center. Well, it wasn't nearest. *note to self* Always keep your hand phone and full charge and never use public transport in places you don't know about. It took me more than 2 hours to reach home for supposedly a  12 km journey.

The best part of the trip would be my visit to Bali. Bali was beautiful.  Bali was magnificent. Bali was exuberant. Day 1 started dull. Probably cuz I was hungover from the previous night drubbing of Portugal. That made sad too. But that's football. But it ended on a very high note, witnessed an active volcano. That was a sight I'll never forget for a while now. Day 2 has to be the most wonderful day of my life as of now. Scuba Diving. I fucking scuba dived. What an experience that was. Sadly couldn't complete the entire trail cuz of my shoulder injury. Day 3 was fun too, won't go into details. But I should mention Veera here. Veera would be our guide in Bali. An amazing person, a great personality, made a good friend there.

One of the highlights of the trip would be playing alongside the locals. Great bunch of talented lads. Friendly as well. Enjoyed, fucked up their counters(Yes, I am not that good, still learning). But had a good game. Loved playing side along them.

Wait. I am missing something. Best part of the trip. (Okay second best part but whatever). A chini (I am so racist, I am sorry)  hit on me. Like a real girl. A REAL HOT CHICK hit on me. And that's like something. Because no one generally hits on me, makes me wonder if she were a shemale or something(God, I hope not).

Well, That just sums it up then. This is probably my worst piece here. But posting anyway.

Whatever You call a Bat-Flash-Spidey-Ironman mashup.

"With great powers comes great responsibilities."

This is in response to WOW topic of the week. I don't think it will  be something that would make sense. Why? There is a thin line between being a superhero fanatic and being a worshiper. And I can  proudly  say that I have crossed over the dark side. I am that deep into it that the line is now a point to me(Sorry Joey).

So, I was browsing the internet the other day and I get fixated to something. I am MANBAT. Wait. That didn't sound right no? Exactly.

  This is something that can ruin your entire Batman memories. But well this post is not something about that.Or is it? No. Moving on.

If given a chance to be a superhero, what powers would I want? This has to be the most hardest question I have come across in my life. Wait. Most hardest has to be Pizza or a gf. Sheesh, I can't even decide on what question was the most hardest, let alone be me deciding on what powers I want to have.

But no. I have decided. I want people to call me whatever they will call a Bat-Flash-Spidey-Ironman mashup.

Why Batman you ask? He's not even a superhero nor does he have any superpowers. Batman because he is a role model. Batman because he is a silent guardian , a watchful protector. (Screw it. I was going to copy anyways). Batman because he is rich. Batman because he go by his rules. Batman because he have best antagonists the comic world has ever seen. Batman because of all the cool gadgets. Oh ma! That Batmobile.
And a certain 'CHAAR AANI' wants to be him, who called me sexist for saying Batman is a guy.-_-
So why not Batman! Also if this is not the most coolest thing, I don't know what is.

Spiderman?Let's face it. Everyone tried to hold a spider, hoping that it will bite. For the suits. No questions asked. And Mary Jane. And Gwen Stacy(Let's not go there. I might cry). So what do I love about the Spiderman other than the costumes. He's witty. He's smart. He was a nerd. He got bullied. He is an introvert. Someone who won't open up enough. See. I can already feel I am describing myself. (WHERE IS THAT SPIDER? BITE ME NOW. COME ON, MATE).

Ironman. Jarvis. Has to be jarvis. Who wouldn't like the coolest assistant of the century to be alongside you when you are fighting crime. Why I regard Ironman as one of the finest? This.

" Steve Rogers: Big man in a suit of armour. Take that off, what are you?

  Tony Stark: Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. "

Yes. He is arrogant, a bit self centered. But that's what make Ironman Ironman.

Wanted to save the best for last. FLASH. 

I don't mind you guys regard him as a superhero. I don't care if you think he is useless. If ever I wanted to be a superhero I would be flash. NO second thoughts. Why Flash? I can beat Superman in a race(Beat that haters). Flash has nothing fancy to boast about other than the speed. But I'll take that and I get to be BFF with Batman(JL reference that(Also, a joke)). Also, I will be having the power to reverse back time(For someone who makes a lot of mistake, quite handy). And someone calls me by that name(Where is the winking emoticon when you need it the most). Also, If anyone is reading this I would appreciate if you gift me a Flash tshirt. Thank you.

 I know I didn't do the title justice or the post as a matter of fact. But these superhero thingy is something I hardly regard, it would be very tough to focus on one. And "Secrets have a cost. They're not free. Not now, not ever." Who knows, I just might be your neighborhood hero. :P
